The people here are really kind and the facility is very clean. Lots of activities and the courtyard is really nice to enjoy. We would definitely recommend.

My family had a wonderful experience with Apache Junction Health Center. Our loved one needed 24 hour care, and the staff gave the attention needed. The facility is clean, the staff is attentive, and the Director of Nursing even stopped by to ensure things were running smoothly. We were very pleased with the level of care provided and highly recommend.

People who work here, mostly do not care. Do things for them, more then for the patient. I will never utilize this facility again.

I am leaving this review to share a serious concern regarding our experience with case manager Kyle Schultz at Apache Junction Health Center. During discussions regarding our Medicare coverage, Kyle provided misleading and incomplete information that directly resulted in the loss of our primary Medicare insurance coverage. At no point did he clearly disclose that the actions he was taking would remove us from our existing Medicare plan. He also failed to inform us that a supplemental coverage plan would be needed. As a result of this misrepresentation and failure to properly explain the consequences of these changes, our family was left without insurance coverage. More than a month later, we are still actively attempting to have our original Medicare coverage reinstated. This situation has caused significant stress, confusion, disruption in medical care, and concern for our family’s health and wellbeing. In addition, Kyle agreed to certain treatment communication and care coordination procedures regarding our family’s healthcare that he ultimately failed to follow through on. This lack of follow-through further damaged our trust in the care management process and negatively impacted our ability to make informed healthcare decisions. We believe this situation reflects serious concerns regarding professional responsibility, informed consent, patient communication, and case management practices. We hope Apache Junction Health Center takes these concerns seriously so that other families do not experience similar issues.

The weekend front desk receptionist ate my mother’s food that her kids sent to her. The receptionist did not give notification that they food and other items arrived. That is rude of her eating food that is not hers.

This place deserves negative stars. The staff could not care less about their job and it shows in how terribly they treat their patients. They are rude, very rarely has a single person here responded to a “hello., how are you?” Or even a thank you. It is blank stares and silence. God forbid you have to ring in after hours. I have stood outside for 10 minutes, calling the number on their “call for after hours entry” and getting the same woman telling me to stop calling her, I need to speak to the front desk. Eventually she began just hanging up the phone. Now the facility itself is not fit enough for healthy people to live in, let alone those who are ill trying to recover and “rehabilitate”. Many times the hallways smell so strongly of feces it is unbearable. My mother was there for less than a week and caught Cdiff. She was in “isolation” (a regular room next to other occupied, non isolation. Her commode was left full for 9 plus hours in her room and they did not allowq her to have a shower or a bath for over a week. She had one, pitiful spong bath. They are shameful.

We currently have our mom in here. It was her top choice of places to go. So far so good, they have smoking 4 times a day. You can bring items from home to make their stay comfortable and all staff have been attentive and helpful. Kyle (social worker) and Rico/Kevin (admitting) have been the most helpful in navigating next steps of the overall process. Nurses are all friendly and kind. Parking is horrible during the day.

I found Apache Junction health centre to be very well or, clean, and especially focused on good relationships between staff and patients. I was admitted for a fall from the medical surgical hospital and the transition went very smoothly. Everyone seems very caring.

My sister and I visited the facility for our mother. Kevin was great! He answered all of our questions and put us at ease.

The therapy team at this facility goes above and beyond. They are extremely knowledgeable and demonstrate incredible empathy towards all their patients.
